The program “Desmos for Youth” is being implemented, for the second consecutive year, through a donation of $100,000 from the Greek Initiative (THI) and €50,000 from VISA Hellas. During the first year of the program, 15 unemployed young people were employed in a number of public benefit organizations, serving 50,000 indirect beneficiaries through their work. The call for participation in the program, is open until Sunday 30 April 2017.

The pioneering program of Desmos “Desmos for Youth” continues for the second consecutive year, inviting unemployed young people up to 30 years of age and charitable organizations in need of human resources to apply for participation. Through this program, at least 8 community-based organizations in Greece, will be supported in order to recruit as many young people as possible, who are currently unemployed.

The purpose of “Desmos for Youth” program is double, as the program offers professional experience, while at the same time it significantly enhances the work of the public benefit organizations.
