Further to the invitation which directed the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece for the participation to the MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2018, which is conducted for the 4th consecutive year in our country, is now declared the completion of the first phase of the competition, as the teams which qualify for the semifinal round. Essentially the contest aims for contributing to dynamic development, quality upgrading and promotion of the Greek technological entrepreneurship.

The 24 teams are integrated now to the 3-months program of the contest, that includes mentoring & workshops, are in alphabetical order the following: ΑΓΩ, Advanced Intelligent Robotics, Agile Agriculture Technologies, AJM Med-i-caps, Algotracing Technologies, BoatsAdvisor®, Cashloop, DeepMed IO LTD, Disabledbook, Drizz, eNVy softworks, HireProfs, iBusiness, IFAAacademy, Ingredio, Innate Repair, Intellihost, Lawcals, Local Buddy, New Element, Pegneon, Quantimetrica, Solumbro και SWAP.

It is worth mentioning that from the teams which passed to the next round, 7 of them, belong to the Software field, 6 to the Biotechnology & Health field, 3 to the Internet & Web field, 2 to the Computer & Electronics Hardware filed, whereas finally 6 of them specialize in other fields (Tourism, Fintech etc.).

The Closing and Award Ceremony of the contest, will be held in the beginning of July, 2018, in Athens. That day, the 10 finalists will present their business proposal in front of the audience and the jury will choose the 3 winning teams.
