Τhe established press conference  of the Greek Film Academy was completed with the anouncement of  the nominations for this year’s, seventh award ceremony of the Greek Film Academy, that will take place on March 28th, at the Onassis Cultural Center.

The award ceremony named “Iris” will be directed by Nikos Soulis, while the presentation of the event will be arrannged by George Nanouris and Lena Papaligoura.

The film “Wednesday 04.45” by Alexis Alexiou gathers the most nominations, competing for 13 awards, followed by  “Interruption” by Yorgos Zois with 9 nominations, and “Ouzeri  Tsitsanis” and “Chevalier” by  Manousos Manousakis and  Athena Tsaggaris respectively with 6. During the ceremony British actress Vanessa Redgrave will also receive an honourary award for her work, both in cinema and as  a political activist.
