The Greek Platform for Development for the second year coordinates the largest campaign in Greece for the Global Goals, “17 Days 17 Sustainable Development Goals”.

From September 14th to September 30th, along with 77 civil society organizations, institutions, schools, universities, municipalities, initiatives and structures they are launching a 17-day program implemented in 25 cities and villages of Greece and Cyprus.

The program includes festivals, children’s workshops, public events, informative workshops, discussions, exhibitions and day centers promoting actions that incorporate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals into daily life and highlight the urgent need to implement Agenda 2030.

The goal of the “17 Days 17 Sustainable Development Goals” campaign is to provide essential information to the 17 Global Goals and to actively involve local people in mobilizing stakeholders and creating good practices for their implementation. The purpose is to engage everyone to achieve a sustainable, inclusive, fair and green future for all.

At the same time, research will be carried out, in collaboration with the University of the Aegean, in order to record measurable results for citizens’ perceptions of the World Goals and the actions required to implement them at national level.

The campaign is part of the Sustainable Europe for All program and is part of the global mobilization of ‘Global Week to # Act4SDGs’.
