Andreas Vernardakis, Andrea Verda leaders stamp

Andreas Vernadakis is a sculptor and so he considers jewelry as a “sculpture to wear”. This is evident in his approach to designing and creating jewelry, as an extension of his sculpture, inspired by the Greek Mythology, Nature and the Sea, as witnessed in his latest work, the Andromeda Collection.

I started my career as a sculptor in 2007, and then I was absorbed with jewelry but with all the knowledge gained from other fields and mainly sculpture.

There are no essential differences between jewelry and sculpture, jewelry has the anthropocentric element, the sculpture can be open in space but the point is how the artist responds to it.

I mainly draw inspiration from the mythological element of Ancient Greece.

My brand is connected with sculpture.

The people I think will resonate are people who have a particular culture.

My most important moment is not one but plentiful, they start with my sculptural work, they continue in jewelry and they continue to evolve.

To promote my work, I have collaborated with A Jewel Made in Greece as part of the exhibition in Zappeion.

It is very nice to create in Greece, it is a country that has tradition in jewelry and one can draw inspiration especially from the ancient Greek element.

I am Andreas Vernardakis owner and designer of the company Andreas Verda.
