Physis of Crete is a family business, based in Lasithi, Crete. Since 2002 it is engaged in the production of extra virgin olive oil, produced by the olive variety “koroneiki”. Its olive oil is distinguished by its flavour and fruity aroma, making it the ideal choice for salads and cooking.
Cretan products, as we know, are the flagship of Mediterranean cuisine
We started our company in 2002. Our stimulus was a small shop in the traditional village of Kritsa.
The basic product is the extra virgin olive oil, then we have a range of olive paste, cane paste and green olive paste.
The key and the unquestionable, for our products to be competitive with other overseas countries, is quality.
The action of our business, yes certainly, helps in the support of the local community, because we are a business, we are a company that does not see the local community as customers. On the contrary, let’s say we are the customers in the local community. Because, the Cretan products we trade are the flagship of Mediterranean cuisine, so in advance the visitor who comes to Greece and Crete, knows that the Cretan diet is very beneficial to him.
The initiative of the hotel units to use only Greek products on their menu is the best thing that could happen.
The landmark moment for our company would be January 19th when we managed and completed a project, a business plan moving our business to an olive oil park.
