BLUE Prototype: Accelerator of innovative ideas for the maritime economy
An important initiative in support of innovative ideas, individual or group, researchers, young or promising entrepreneurs in the maritime economy have been announced by the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Hellenic Center for Marine Research.
The Blue Prototype by TEE – HCMR is a joint initiative of the two bodies and is being implemented under the European Territorial Cooperation funded Interreg MED research program MISTRAL (Mediterranean Innovation STRAtegy for transnational clusters and networks of the Blue Growth).
The first round of Prototype by TEE and Attica Region has helped to foster and promote innovative ideas and startups in the field of engineering for 2017-2018. Prototype by TEE actions are also supported by the Attica Region. There has also been a priori delineation by HCMR of research and technological challenges with high potential for innovation in the maritime economy and good practices have been identified that exploit this potential.
The BLUE Prototype by TEE – ELKETHE is a technology accelerator for innovative ideas specific to the maritime economy, which they support at the level of know-how, organization, management, management and promotion, in order to develop them into promising business plans, with the aim of as efficient and dynamic as possible for the benefit of the Greek economy and society, and in particular for maintaining the health of the hydrosphere in relation to environmental, social and economic sustainability and its management and contribution to integrated development.
