According to an Accenture survey, European companies that simultaneously boost their level of digital maturity and viability are likely to recover faster and emerge stronger from the crisis.

More specifically, the Accenture study, “The European Double Up: A twin strategy that will strengthen competitiveness”, notes that companies that lead in both digital technology adoption and sustainable practices are three times more likely to be among the “leaders of tomorrow”.

45% of European companies prioritize investments related to digital transformation and sustainable development.

According to the study, three strategies that could be followed in order for companies to proceed to a successful transformation are: the adoption of business models based on ecosystems, which focus on sustainability and technology, the combination of resources to increase technological applications towards sustainable development and finally the guidance, encouragement and utilization of employees.
