On Monday November 25, 2019, the Exhibition of Greek contemporary printmaking in Japan was inaugurated at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum and organized by the Greek and Japanese Printmaker’s Association. The Japanese public had the opportunity to see a comprehensive overview of contemporary Greek printmaking in recent years through 50 works of equal artists.

The exhibition, which is the result of a long-standing collaboration between the Greek and Japanese Printmaker’s Association, is being held with the support of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports and is part of the anniversary commemoration of the 120 years of diplomatic relations between Greece and Japan.
