The first amendment of the Invitation “e-retail – Subsidy of existing SMEs in the retail sector, for the development/upgrade and management of an online store” has been published, regarding the extension of the deadline for submission of financing applications until Monday 5th of April at 15:00.

Also included modifications concerning the eligible costs, the payment of the grant, the supporting documents of the Action, etc.

A relevant request for an extension was preceded by the Hellenic Confederation of Trade and Entrepreneurship to the Minister of Development and Investment, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis.

ESEE had pointed out that this Program, which subsidizes the development, upgrade and management of an online store, is particularly beneficial for commercial enterprises, as it strengthens important and necessary infrastructure for their transition to the digital age.

However, due to the serious problems that the long-term suspension of stores due to the lockdown creates in the daily life of the commercial world, ESEE considered and proposed that there be a sufficient time extension to enable all retail companies that wish to receive the relevant subsidy.

The “e-retail” action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and from national resources.
