Greek distinctions at the JCK & LUXURY exhibition
Two Greek jewelry companies, participating under the Greek Jewels banner, have won design awards at the JCK & LUXURY International Jewelry and Precious Stones Exhibition, which is in progress in Las Vegas.
At the awards ceremony on May 30th, Apostolos Jewelry was awarded the Luxury Design Award in the Top 3 Design category and Dimitrios Exclusive (Kapsaskis Dim. & SIA OE) was awarded for Best Bracelet Design in the $2,501-$10,000 price category.
The JCK exhibition, considered one of the most important jewelry exhibitions in the world, is the largest in the U.S. and is considered an institution in the industry, both as a showcase of jewelry design and as a commercial event. For a second consecutive year, 14 Greek companies are participating in the exhibition and will return home with new business opportunities and international recognition for the excellence of contemporary Greek jewelry design.
Enterprise Greece, in collaboration with communications agency asap Athens, is promoting Greece’s jewelry industry under the logo: Greek Jewels. The initiative aims to introduce Greek companies and the new generation of innovative Greek jewelry designers to distributors and consumers in the U.S. market.
The next event for the U.S. market is being held in November at the Museum of Art & Design (MAD) in New York City, where a total of 27 Greek designers will participate, including most of the Greek participants at the JCK & LUXURY exhibition.
