Featuring Konstandina Kordoulli & Avra Haraka, voice With the kind participation of Elli Paspala)

An inspiration of the moment while thinking how she could support Athens in difficult times, Elli Paspala was lead to a game of words inspired by the famous song of Cole Porter, “I love Paris”. This is how “I love Athens” was born. The Underground Youth Orchestra conducted by its founder, Costas Eliades proved to be the perfect match for this journey, while the orchestration of the song by David Lynch completed the picture.

The song “I love Athens” was recorded, evolved into a video clip and became the official slogan of a tournée started in September 2015 at the Athens Airport El.Venizelos. (with the support of the German and Canadian Embassies and Athens International Airport).

The second concert will take place on Wednesday the 30th, at 20:30, at the Benaki Museum.

If you love Athens too, we invite you to come and sing with us “I love Athens” along with Christmas melodies and World Carols, as well as listening to the most beloved soundtracks of cinema productions.

During the concert evening exclusively, acclaimed photographer Pantelis Consolakis (Picon Photography www.pikon.gr), will be exhibiting his selected works based on the Underground Youth Orchestra, at the Foyer, 2nd floor.
