Manos Karalakis & Maria Karalakis, Karalakis Farm leaders stamp

Karalakis family grows organically in its greenhouses, all herbs and wild Cretan herbs, and exotic vegetables as well. With determination and perseverance, he prominently demonstrates the particular flora of Crete and the ability of Cretan soil to produce almost everything, from bulbs, mustard and watercress, to lemongrass, tarragon and basil with anise and cinnamon aroma.

We all work together for a better future

We as a business have focused on cultivation. We have been dealing with organic crops for the last 15 years, at least.

Our products range from the very simple and common to the most unique and delicatessen vegetables available in the Greek market, such as cappuccino leaves, salty ice plant and edible blossoms.

It is good to use Greek products and even more agricultural products because they are tastier, have more quality and on the other hand because we give jobs to Greek local businesses.

Along with us work traders, caterers and small producers, we all work together for a better future.

Local production can meet the demand for agricultural products as there is a plethora of them, especially in Ierapetra.

There should be a coordinated effort by the producers, traders and simultaneous support from the state to increase the export activity of each producer.

We have established ourselves in the Cretan and Greek market, with long-standing partnerships with chefs, shops, hotels and restaurants.

During the 25 years we have been active in the field of agriculture there have been many landmark moments, marking as the most important one the acquaintance of Mr. Yiannis Baxevanis with our father George Karalakis and founder of our company Karalakis Farm.

My name is Manos Karalakis and our business is called Karalakis Farm.

I am Maria Karalakis and I am Sales Manager at Karalakis Farm.
