From Tuesday, July 13, the new National Action Plan for Gender Equality (2021-2025) was put up for public consultation, in order for all stakeholders and partners to submit their proposals for the improvement of its forecasts.

According to the Ministry of Labor, “the aim of the new Action Plan posted on the website is to promote a coherent network of policies that will promote the horizontal integration of the gender perspective in sectoral policies, taking into account both the rapidly changing social and economic environment, as well as all the special conditions brought about by the pandemic”.

The National Action Plan for Gender Equality 2021-2025 is organized around 4 Thematic Priority Axes, each of which focuses on a specific dimension of gender equality policies and concerns the prevention and fight against gender and domestic violence, the equal participation of women. in decision-making positions and leadership roles, equal participation of women in the labor market and gender mainstreaming in sectoral policies.

The National Action Plan for Gender Equality 2021-2025 will remain posted and open to all until Friday, August 13, 2021, where until then everyone can submit any comments or suggestions.
