Orange Grove: “Junior Squeezy” Competition
The Innovative Pitching Entrepreneurship Competition “Junior Squeezy” was successfully held on Friday, April 5, 2019, at Orange Grove, the international startup incubator in Athens, initiated by the Dutch Embassy in Athens, with the participation of young people aged 15 to 17.
The business ideas that emerged and turned out to be winners were the Zero% Risk team in the first place, a solution to enhance the safety of people with Alzheimer’s and other vulnerable groups, the Hermes Group in second place, a marketplace for the sale of local products of high quality which also combines nutritional advice / traditional recipes, and third place the Apex Intros proposal, a tool that enables people with YouTube channels to create their own branded introduction videos.
The winners of the three first prizes offered by the Dutch Embassy in Greece will have the chance to get to know the Dutch startup ecosystem by exchanging ideas with other young people by visiting the Global School for Entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. While all participants in the competition were given the opportunity to continue to enjoy the Orange Grove’s consulting support for three months, enriching their knowledge of youth entrepreneurship.
