The  optimistic message that Greece has sound entrepreneurial forces which can support the effort to restart the economy was stated by the business representatives, who attended the Business Excellence event “Active Greece Awards 2016 – The Greece extroversion”, held on Wednesday, March the 23rd.

The event was held at the conference hall of PPA and awarded the most extroverted enterprises in the country, including the prized pharmaceutical Pharmathen. The award for the company’s performance in the export sector, was received by the Corporate Communication Director of Pharmathen, Constantine Kotzias.

The local environment is hostile for business, noted Mr. Kotzias and stressed that the key to development is the international markets. In this context, Pharmathen’s strategy was based, all the previous years, on research, extroversion and investment, and today, 80% of turnover come from exports, while from 2010 to date 500 new jobs have been created .
