The set of “Redefining Realities: #someREACTdifferent” will be held in Athens on October 17, at the SETE Annual Conference.

For yet another year, internationally recognized business and tourism personalities will broadcast unique stories that inspire innovative ideas, as well as best practices for destination management and strategic development.

The three sections of the Conference – “Brave New World”, “Observing Destinations”, and “Time Machine” – will develop the concepts of sustainable development, innovation and experience from different angles.

The conference will be co-chaired by Paul Papadimitriou, founder of Intelligencr, an innovation researcher and expert on future strategies. Familiar with the way technology shapes global identity, it has become indispensable to giants such as Microsoft, Conde Nast, eBay and Siemens.

Along with the central conference program, participants will be able to attend two masterclasses. One of them, Catharina Fischer, will highlight alternative ways to approach the German market through digital tools. On the other, David Bizer, Founder and CEO of Talent Fountain, who had thrilled participants as a keynote speaker in 2018, returns with a powerful masterclass on employer branding where he will share hands-on experience on how an employer becomes a brand by attracting them more talented workers.

On the sidelines of the annual conference, SETE creates its first “Tech Alley”, an exhibition space dedicated to Greek start-up companies, which provides the opportunity to present technological services and products to entrepreneurs and executives of the Greek tourism market.
