For the third consecutive year, more than 650 executives and personalities of Greek tourism flooded the Banquet Hall of the Athens Concert Hall, to attend the award ceremony of the Tourism Awards 2016, on Wednesday, April the 6th.

In the great celebration of Greek tourism, with presenters Mary Synatsaki and Dimitri Hungarian, the best companies in all sectors of Travel, Hospitality & Leisure were awarded, as well as initiatives that encourage innovation and quality services in Greek tourism. The Tourism Awards 2016 were organized by the publication Hotel & Restaurant Boussias Communications, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Marine and Tourism and EOT. This year, the number of companies which applied was increased by 33%, proving the importance and recognition of the awards in the industry.

The big night had moments of excitement and emotion, smiles and high spirits, cocktails of Diageo and a menu with flavors from all over Greece, curated by the chef Miltiadis Karoubas. The evening ended in the foyer, where the winners made their statements in front of TV crews and were photographed with their awards, accompanied by the Tourism Awards cocktail. At the same time, more than 1,000 people attended the ceremony via live streaming on the website of the Tourism Awards.
